Memorial Weekend at the Farmers Market

Join us on Saturday, May 23rd at the Ashe County Farmers Market. Springtime is a great time to shop for lettuces and dark leafy greens. We also have fresh Asparagus, herbs, garden plants, native shrubs, beautiful hanging flower baskets, heirloom apple trees, sourdough bread, fresh eggs, dried apples, teas, CBD products, local honey, homemade face masks, quilts, soap and so much more.

Ashe County Farmers Market to Open Saturday, May 9th!!

The Ashe County Farmers Market will open on Saturday, May 9th from 8 am – 1 pm. Vendors will sell produce, meats, dairy, breads, plants and soaps. We will also have a food truck. Only essential items per Governor Coopers orders. Please note that the market will look somewhat different this year with 1 entrance and 1 exit. A hand washing station will be set up at the entrance (side closest to WJ Hardware) for all customers to wash their hands before entering. We also encourage all customers to wear gloves and masks. The exit will be on the side closest to First Baptist Church. HELP US HELP YOU by social distancing of at least 6 feet. Please point to the products you wish to buy and the vendors will gladly bag what you want. Let’s all work together to keep everyone safe! See you at the Market! Ashe County Farmers Market Protocols for COVID-19

NEW PROTOCOLS EFFECTIVE May 15 and May 22, 2021

1.  Effective May 15, the ACFM Board agreed for masks to be optional for both vendors and customers.  ***We do encourage everyone to continue to be safe and to respect each other’s choices.

2.  Samples are now allowed at vendor tables.

3.  Bathrooms will now be open for all customers effective May 22nd.

4.  Coffee and Tea will once again be available effective May 22nd.
